During the shooting of ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ (1999), Salman and Aishwarya Rai had a very serious relationship, but due to reasons best known to them, they broke up in March 2002. An interesting fact is that Aishwarya’s family had filed a case of harassment against Khan after the break up.
In 2005, during shooting of ‘Main Ne Pyar Kyun Kiya’ Salman had another very serious affair with Bollywood doll Katrina Kaif, they remained together five years and in 2010 they broke up. They still continue to be good friends though.

On 28th September 2002 in Mumbai, Salman’s car ran into a bakery killing one person, who was sleeping outside on the pavement, and three others were also injured in this accident. Salman was charged with culpable homicide and the court proceedings are still on.
During shooting of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, Salman along with his colleagues, Saif Ali Khan, Tabbu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre were charged for poaching of ‘Black Buck’. Salman was sentenced to 1 year jail for this case on 17th February 2006. But later court accepted his bail; the trial of this case is still going on at the Jodhpur court.
In March 2002, after their break-up, Ash had filed a complaint of harassment against Salman.
Trigeminal Neuralgia Of Salman
Salman has been suffering from ‘Trigeminal Neralgia’ since 2007. This is a neuropathic disorder characterized by extreme pain in the face, and is commonly known as ‘suicide disease’. Salman has undergone two surgeries to cure it, but he doesn’t seem to have completely recovered from it; Salman still suffers from pain occasionally.
We all know Salman is impulsive. Did you know he called his own cook by air to London during shooting of ‘London Dreams’ to cook Biryani for all the staff and crew of ‘London Dreams’ who had got bored eating European food?
