While gambling may be seen as a vice in some parts of India, people do indulge in it once in a while, just for the fun of it.

After all, it’s common to see casinos in movies, and movies show gambling as something that the rich and famous like to indulge in. Besides, its common knowledge that most Bollywood celebrity homes turn into gambling dens during festivals like Diwali.

There are several places around the world that are known for their world class gambling scene (especially casinos). Several celebrities and families who visit such places do make sure they get to enjoy the experience at a casino. While such facilities may not be available even in the major cities in India, there are top class gambling venues in major foreign cities.

Then there are certain festive occasions and get-togethers at homes, when it’s perfectly alright to play card games, where there’s money at stake (the players decide how much they are comfortable pooling in).

Bollywood celebrities definitely lead the way, when it comes to gambling. They barely need any reason to bring out the cards, and Diwali is definitely one of those occasions. That’s the time when Bollywood celebrities let themselves loose with lakhs of rupees on offer (its peanuts for them after all).

Festivals like Diwali is the perfect time to indulge in gambling (card games are the most popular on such occasions). Its the perfect time to catch-up with old friends and relatives and have some fun. And because you’re playing with friends, you’re not likely to go bankrupt (after all, they all are in it for the fun of it).
